Caitlyn Coates

Caitlyn Coates is a board-certified physician assistant who graduated from Campbell University Physician Assistant program in 2013 with a Master of Physician Assistant Practice degree.  Prior to her physician assistant studies, she graduated from East Carolina University with a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology (2011) and Campbell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with minors in biology and psychology (2009).  Prior to CFI, Caitlyn provided prenatal care in an obstetric clinic at the Wake County Health Department.

Caitlyn started working for CFI in February of 2019.  Later that fall she moved to Western NC to open CFI’s satellite office in Asheville.  She is now looking forward to opening our newest satellite office in Mooresville, NC where she will perform new patient consultations, ultrasounds, semen analyses, intrauterine inseminations, saline ultrasounds, and much more.

With more than 8 years of experience working in women’s health, Caitlyn makes it a top priority that her patients feel heard and respected.  She appreciates CFI’s patient-centered approach and strives to ensure that her patients are seen and treated as individuals, each with their own unique situations and needs.  Some of Caitlyn’s favorite aspects of her job are performing procedures, providing patient education about their reproductive health and options for treatment, advocating for fertility preservation, and sharing the great joy that patients experience once they have achieved their dream of become pregnant.

Caitlyn is a native of Eastern North Carolina and currently lives in Mooresville, NC.  In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, crafting, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
