4. Coping with Infertility Support Group at Cone Hospital

This six-session series provides couples experiencing impaired fertility with tools and resources for building effective communication and coping skills while on their journey to start a family. You can find more information and register online here.


5. Meditation

Clearing your thoughts during fertility treatment can help reduce stress and induce a peaceful state of mind. Women who are under constant stress produce prolactin, cortisol and other hormones, which can interfere with or even block regular ovulation. Another fertility bonus to meditation is the start of a new habit which helps you to gain control over your thoughts, which is the first step in manifesting your pregnancy. 6. Walking/Hiking

Regular exercise before trying to conceive can help you feel good throughout your pregnancy, have more stamina for labor and delivery, and shed the baby weight faster. Exercise may even improve your fertility if you’re struggling to conceive due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or are overweight. We are fortunate to reside is a beautiful area with an abundance of areas for walking and hiking. 7. Journaling

Keeping a journal during your fertility journey helps you to focus on the positive events in your life. A journal can reduce stress, and result in a more positive cycling experience no matter what the outcome.
