Marlane Angle received her PhD in Physiology from Auburn University. She completed two NIH funded postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX, and Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, TX. She trained in IVF at the University of California, San Francisco and became an ABB certified High Complexity Laboratory Director in 1994. She has been both an onsite and offsite laboratory director for IVF programs in Albuquerque, NM; Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem, NC; Las Vegas, NV; Little Rock, AR; Madison, WI, Phoenix, AZ; Rochester, NY; San Francisco, CA; San Antonio, TX, and Seattle, WA. She has worked as a consultant with multiple companies including CryoFutures, InvoCell, Irvine Scientific, Overture, Previvo Genetics, DxNow, the World Egg Bank and Zephyr Analytics. She has taught in both the master’s and the PhD programs at Eastern Virginia Medical School. In addition, she has published more than 70 papers, abstracts and chapters, and has been President of the Reproductive Laboratory Special Interest group of ASRM, past President and current Board Member for AAB, a reviewer for JARG, and for the abstract committee at ASRM, was one of the founders and past President of the Board of Directors for the Southwest Embryology Summit and is on the organizing committee of the Madison Clinical Embryology Summit meeting. She currently splits her time between Washington state and Oliva, Spain when she isn’t visiting her labs.
