With nearly a decade of dedicated experience in women’s health, Davyn Griswold is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and ACMB Certified Nurse Midwife who graduated with honors from Georgetown University with her dual MSN—WHNP/CNM in 2023. She began her career as a registered nurse in 2015 on a multifaceted unit incorporating labor and delivery, antenatal, postpartum, neonatal, and women’s surgical care before transitioning into a high-risk OB setting at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. Upon joining CFI, Davyn trained directly under Dr. Yalcinkaya and our Advanced Practice Providers in preparation for the opening of the Cary clinic.
Davyn is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals and families navigating fertility challenges. She is passionate about patient education and practices individualized patient and family-centered care. Additionally, her experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife has provided her with the unique perspective to aid her patients in optimizing their reproductive health while promoting overall well-being, recognizing the interconnected nature of fertility and full-spectrum wellness. She enthusiastically provides care for our patients from the beginning of their reproductive journey to their eight-week pregnancy ultrasound. She is devoted to empowering and supporting her patients on their unique paths to parenthood. Transitioning from catching babies to helping create them has been one of her most rewarding endeavors yet.
Before moving to Raleigh, Davyn was an Asheville resident for over 13 years. As an avid explorer, she profoundly appreciates North Carolina and its wide variety of people and places—from the city lights to the rural mountains to the windy seas! Outside the office, Davyn loves to hike, paddleboard, practice acro yoga, and has a great passion for house and medicinal plants.
